JAY REID

JAY REID, a new artist commin' out of BROOKLYN, NY with some fire for u and yours. "Well to start off I've always been a fan of rap music and as a kid I used to listen to Digital Underground, Heavy D, Tupac, and BIG. Before them I really didn't know much about rap because of my Jamaican heritage and reagge was more of my fortae; but after a while I waz listening to mostly Hip Hop. My story is similar to most of the artists in the rap game now, my pops died when I was young and I grew up poor. To make ends meet I hustled for most of my life and it resulted in me being in and out of the joint you know... going thru the bullshit. After my second son waz born I knew I had to change the way I waz living. I've been doin my thing for a couple years now and just started to take my talent seriously when I linked up with my homie Demorne Warren aka D Dub from DO FOR SELF ENTERTAINMENT. That's the team that's next up to blow, they got me grindin, and making moves. U can catch me on B-CAT TV and a couple of street dvds, so just look out for JAY REID and DO FOR SELF ENTERTAINMENT. ..
